Irvine Chinese School & Preschool

Planted in the well-established South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, Irvine Chinese Preschool opened in the fall of 2021 to serve families with young children, ages from 3 to 5 years old. It's fully licensed by the Department of Social Services as part of the Community Child Care Center.

Jumpstart in Mandarin Learning

Young children’s brain is like a sponge, they constantly absorb information from the environment to make a scene of the world. Especially in language learning, studies have shown that the earlier a child is exposed to a language, the higher chance they can become fluent in the future. By learning Mandarin at a young age, we are giving children the opportunity to become familiar with the language and gain an appreciation for the Chinese culture. Learning a second language is not only giving children a tool for communication, but also opening a door for them to explore the world of wonder.

Young children can pick up language naturally. This Mandarin immersion preschool class provides a plentiful opportunity to immerge children into a total Mandarin environment. Through group activities, songs, stories, games, and crafts, children will learn to speak in most daily life converse that is practical and fun. Our experienced and qualified teachers carefully designed age appropriate activities to meet young children’s development. No prior knowledge in Chinese is required. Children must be toilet trained and please bring a healthy snack.

Chinese Immersion Preschool (3-5 years old)
